“Sorting Out Orange County’s Waste: Alternatives for our Future”
Renowned waste expert Neil Seldman, President of the Institute for Local Self Reliance, will join Orange Environment, Inc http://www.ilsr.org/about.html for a public discussion of emerging waste alternatives this Monday evening, Nov. 1, at 7:00 PM at the Wallkill River Art School in Montgomery. The visit is timely given the current application of Taylor Holdings for permission to build a plant for waste sorting, bio-gasification and potentially for garbage incineration in Montgomery, NY and the long delayed and behind-the-scenes revision of the Orange County Solid Waste Master Plan. This discussion is intended to sharpen our thinking and inform us about choices.
Monday, November 1, 2010
7:00 P.M. at the Wallkill River Art School,
232 Ward Street (also 17k), Montgomery
A $3.00 OE donation is requested.
