I am a lifelong resident of Orange County NY. A second generation hands on general contractor specializing in renovations and restorations of existing structures. Raising two wonderful children with my beautiful wife in our hometown.

My parents, especially my mother, were local activists within their community. Creating the awareness group (Goshen Area Resource Association) to inform citizens of large scale projects that would have immediate and long term effects to their environment and way of life. This included the MARCY Powerline issues, fighting the Al Turi Landfill expansion/ illegal dumping, and advocating to maintain Goshen’s clean water supply.

I was first introduced to Orange Environment more than 30 years ago at an Earth Day held at Orange County Community College. Learning from Micheal Edelstein (president emeritus)about recycling, renewable energy, and the importance of protecting our most vital resources by using grassroots networking and teamwork.

In 2017, I joined the fight to stop the CPV fracked gas power plant that was being built along the MARCY corridor in Middletown NY. I began drafting and presenting resolutions to our local municipalities, citing the detrimental effects to our communities and the corruption that fueled its existence.

Having success with some of these resolutions made me realize that I can make a difference in my community and has brought me full circle with Orange Environment. Now serving on their board for more than two years, I am humbled to be a part of a very distinguished group of dedicated individuals who act locally and think globally.

Born and raised in this county, I have come to realize the bounty it provides, the beauty we take for granted and the importance of protecting it to sustain quality of life for generations to come.
